SCREENings - Internet goes Print! Online photography competition hits round four. The high-class judging panel are looking forward to fresh portfolios! Exhibition at the UPdate on 14 May in Frankfurt.

SCREENings - Intenet goes Print. The online award offers professional photographers the opportunity of taking part in a virtual SCREENing. To participate, simply enter the link to your homepage.

The 100-120 best portfolios are selected for round two, where they are then laid before the top-class judges to await their decision. It is free for photographers to take part.

It is the photography and creativity, rather than the actual website, which makes up the deciding criteria. The aim of this competition is to provide photographers with an uncomplicated, yet qualified means of contacting industry insiders and important decision makers in the photography sector.

The 20 finalists will be exhibited (printed by seen.by ) at the UPdate – Salon for Photography on 14 May in Frankfurt. The UPdate is the largest, all-encompassing professional photography event in the high-end sector.

The three winners chosen from the 20 finalists will be announced at the UPdate. They will also be presented online at GoSee and as an edition on the seen.by online gallery for sale and print.

The top three will win an ad in LÜRZERs ARCHIVE magazine. The magazine is sent to creatives all over the world – an ideal way of promoting oneself. In addition to this, there will also be a free annual GoSee membership. GoSee currently counts 600,000 visitors to its site per month, a number that is on a steady increase.

The main prize for the top winner is a production in Berlin, worth approximately 5,000 Euro. DRS - DELIGHT RENTAL SERVICES and HASSELBLAD are the sponsors of the prize. However, each of the 100-120 photographers selected for the viewers is already a winner.

The photography competition is run by home made GmbH and managed by the GoSee PR office. SCREENings is aimed at professional photographers from all over the world. To take part, all you need is a simple entry with a link to your site.
